Education that builds a more inclusive future...
Inclusive Futures delivers authentic learning for health and social care professionals, centred on the experiences of autistic people and people with a learning disability. Build understanding, confidence and practice that helps improve the quality of care.
Learning that leads to meaningful change
Created in Poole and serving professionals across the South West, Inclusive Futures brings together more than three decades of experience in nursing, specialist education, workforce development and organisational leadership. Our learning goes beyond completion: it invites people to challenge assumptions, listen to lived experience and put inclusive practice into action.
Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training
Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism helps health and social care professionals build the knowledge, confidence and understanding needed to provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care. The training supports organisations to meet their responsibilities around CQC expectations and the Code of Practice, while placing lived experience at the heart of learning. Through engaging, practical training, we help professionals understand how to communicate effectively, make reasonable adjustments and provide better experiences for autistic people and people with a learning disability.
Makaton Training
Makaton is introduced in part of Oliver McGowan Tier 2 training, highlighting the importance of accessible communication and giving professionals practical tools to connect with people who may communicate differently. My passion for Makaton comes from a deep belief that everyone deserves a voice and a way to be heard. As a Makaton Regional Tutor, I deliver engaging, practical training that helps professionals develop their confidence in using signs and symbols to support communication, reduce barriers and build more meaningful relationships with the people they support. Inclusive communication is not simply about learning signs—it is about creating opportunities for people to express themselves, make choices and be understood.
A message from Marina.
"I believe everyone deserves to be heard, understood and valued. My passion for Inclusive Futures comes from many years of working alongside people with learning disabilities and autistic people and seeing the difference that genuine understanding can make. I want to create training that changes the way people think, communicate and provide care—and to ensure that lived experience is always at the heart of that learning."

What our customers say...
“All of the trainers were absolutely amazing and so engaging. It is so good to have personal experiences and just general education around the communication and how adaptions should just be routine”
